lesson one: IT'S FREE!
The Basics
In this video, I will teach you the basic Beginner Knitting skills: Casting On (starting), the Knit Stitch and Casting Off (finishing). And it's free! Perfect to dip your toe in to see if you like knitting and me!

This Beginner Knitting Class gives you the basic knitting skills needed to knit blankets, scarves, cushion covers and more!

The Purl Stitch & more
In this lesson, we will cover an additional Cast On method, the Purl Stitch and how to combine both Knit and Purl to create 3 different stitch patterns: The Stockinette Stitch Pattern, Rib Stitch Pattern and Moss Stitch Pattern.

Multicolour Knitting Techniques
We will cover Joining Yarn, Striping and Stranded Colourwork so you can make both stripes and graphic patterns. I will even show you how to design your own patterns!

Shaping Techniques & Abbreviations
Shaping techniques are the backbone to any garment that has a curve - hats, socks, jumpers plus many of the techniques I show you can be used to create stitch patterns. Together we will master 3x Increases and 3x Decreases while simultaneously introducing you to knitting abbreviations - the first step in approaching knitting patterns. This lesson includes a PDF resource of the shaping techniques covered.
